Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his surpassing greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with clanging cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! Let everything that breathes praise the Lord! Meets Sundays 3:00-4:00 p.m. in the Youth Center on Hart Lane.
We're open to 4th graders through Adults of any level of experience — male or female.
We start with stretching and a yoga warm up, then move on to learning choreography.
We dance to glorify God!
You are invited to join us for our weekly gatherings. Some individuals and groups may be invited to dance in worship periodically. However, our focus and goal is worship, rather than performance.

Our dancers have a range of experience from none to our lead teacher - who is a former Principal Ballerina. We started our ministry by dancing in both worship services every Sunday during Advent of 2008; we started with 2 adults and 5 middle school girls. For a special service after Easter, our main leader danced the part of Jesus while youth acted and narrated the parts of disciples. Two adults did a beautiful ribbon dance in worship on Pentecost, representing the Holy Spirit. In June, we held a Dance Camp focusing on ballet technique, then had 3 young girls (representing the Trinity) dance in worship to "Word of God Speak" by Mercy Me. In August we began meeting on a weekly basis; 3 of our teenagers and 2 adults choreographed a hip hop dance. We had 13 people present our dance to "Shackles" by Mary Mary at the 2nd Annual Church Carnival!
