Northwest Hills United Methodist Church has many opportunities for study and fellowship. We have numerous Sunday School classes for all ages, ranging in topic and demographic. We welcome any visitor to join a class! Below you'll find a description and picture of each class offered, as well as its location! We like to think of ourselves as a friendly congregation, so please stop someone and ask for directions to the room you're looking for! In the pews you will find a Campus map, which might also prove helpful!
These Sunday School classes are a chance for us to gather in fellowship while challenging each other to new understandings about God and our Christian faith! We hope you will find the class that's perfect for you!
Adults of All Ages (AAA) — W & E 111
All ages and stages welcome! Using a variety of resources, we study the Bible as well as early Christianity, other religions, social issues, and our Methodist connection.
Adult Bible Study — FLC 106
All ages study the Bible, seeking understanding, faith development, and relevance to life.
Bible Adventurers — W & E 109
offers an ongoing structured study of the Bible using the Adult Bible Studies material, an official resource of the United Methodist Church published quarterly by Cokesbury. It is designed to help members understand the meaning and authority of the Bible for Christian life. We welcome anyone interested in joining our class.
Discovery Class — FLC 107
Group discussion by individuals in their 20s and 30s who explore the elements of faith from historical and other perspectives.
Discussion — W & E 114
Older adults, couples and singles, have a variety of presenters/speakers who share issues of Christian and political perspectives.
Gravity — FLC 112
is a young adult class with little outside prep needed! This class is for graduate and college folks, young couples and singles, etc — you name it, you're invited! We hope to keep each other grounded in faith in the midst of transition.
Impressions of Jesus — W & E 112
Bible studies & Christian-based studies as selected by the class; fellowship outings to get to know each other better; organized church volunteer opportunities.

Joshua/Epiphany — FLC 104

OASIS — Education
(Open Affirmation of Spirituality & Individual Support) The Oasis Sunday School Class is a mix of predominantly single and some married people that experience the Christian faith through study and encouragement. The age range is mostly, but not limited to, those in their 40's — 50's.
Parents of Teens — Education
Are you trying to raise a teen? You are not alone. God helps you and we will too. Share your experiences with other parents in a non-judgmental, supportive class. We use a variety of literature (mostly recommended by one of our groups) and teaching is shared by class members who are interested in doing so. Come join us for thoughtful, lively discussion and prayer. This isn't your typical Sunday School class!
Revelations — FLC 108
was started by Rev. Bill Henderson. The class explores the ways in which
God might "reveal" directions for our life in faith as Scripture and
modern life intersect.
Seekers — FLC 102
The Seekers class is an active group of parents with children. Our class is an organized, open discussion with topics that range from Bible study to relationship and family issues. We have a good sense of humor in our discussions, and we have regular social gatherings outside of Sunday school.
2 x 2 Class — W & E 110
Young married couples seek to spiritually enhance their lives, careers and marriages.
All classes begin at 10:00 a.m.
