The Church Council serves as an administra-tivebody to implement the mission and vision of NWHills UMC. Harold Baker

The Purpose Team serves as a directional committee with each Chair present from Evangelism, Missions, Worship, Singles, Communication, Fellowship, Music & Arts, Children's Ministry, Youth Ministry and Adult Ministry. Harold Baker, Purpose Team Chair.

The Spiritual Formation Committee serves as a source of support for programs and events for spiritual enrichment in our congregation. This includes getting information to the congregation about the Prayer Teams, hosting a lunch appreciation for our Prayer Teams, Prayer Academy and other events. The Prayer Room and adjoining garden, Room 100 Family Life Center are open weekdays and Sunday morning, equipped and maintained by the Prayer Team. Gail Parsons, Spiritual Formation Chair, 633-0417

The Pastor Parish Relations Committee (PPRC) provides guidance and consultation on appointed clergy to the Bishop and District Superintendent. It also provides guidance to the pastors on all matters relating to the employed lay staff and encourages those who hear God's call into full-time ministry within the church. The Finance Committee works with the Stewardship Committee to raise money for the budget, prepare a balanced budget and develop and monitor the process of receiving, counting, recording, depositing contributions and much more! Chair Les Broomall, 250-0177.

The leaders of your Stewardship Committee work to plan and ppromote the ongoing giving programs within the life of the church as we all live out our pledge to support the church through "Our Prayers, Our Presence, Our Gifts and Our Service." Chair Nathan Breazeale, 527-8447

The Board of Trustees supervise and maintain all church property, utilities, equipment and investments belonging to our congregation. Please contact Eddie Church, Trustees Chair, to report a need.

The Library Committee strives to provide a user-friendly facility to ensure that members of the congregation of all ages have the resources needed to grow in Christian learning and faith. If you are interested in volunteering your time, please contact Madeline, 345-1743.

The Communications Committee is dedicated to supporting, assisting and facilitating communications efforts for church events and projects, both within the church family and with the community. When requested, we will provide help and ideas to committees, ministries, staff and others in order to publicize projects efficiently and effectively. Committee chair is Jane Posten, 502-9273.

The Adult Council on Education meets quarterly to discuss the educational direction of the church. They offer support for each other, as they check in on Sunday School Class health, as well as offer successful study suggestions. They organize church-wide Sunday School events, that bring in speakers. The A.C.E. team supports each other and challenges each other to grow. Mike Vaden, A.C.E. Chair, 250-9786.
