Women's Bible Study for Fall 2014

Thursdays, 10:00am (Sept 18 - Oct 23)
(Sept 18 in FLC #111, all other sessions in FLC #102)

We live in a world where marriages fail, bank account run low, friendships end, and the everyday demands of a fast-paced life get us down. In the Book Of Jeremiah, we find God calling out to His people with a message that hope-filled living is possible even in an unstable world. But how do we do it? Where do we start? This six-week study offers us help and encouragement for navigating the challenges and uncertainties of life.

The study is Jeremiah – Daring to Hope in an Unstable World,
a 6 week study by Melissa Spoelstra. Contact Pastor Audrey,
512-345-1743.

"Way of Grace" Bible Study

September 21 - November 23
Sundays, 4:00 - 6:00pm in Room 102 of the FLC

Join us as we travel with characters from the Gospel of John who discover God's grace through their encounters with Jesus. This study is more than a survey of biblical stories, it is a transforming interaction with Jesus. Facilitated by Paul Arismendez and Gail Parsons. Sign up in the Narthex, or by calling the church office at 512-345-1743.

These are enormously popular throughout the Methodist Community and everyone should experience it at least once. Get more information here.
