Children's Christmas Pageant - "Miracle at the Christmas Cafe"
The Christmas Story unfolds in a 1950s era diner! Welcome to Bethlehem and the Christmas Café, where Polly Porkchop and Mac N. Cheese serve up some home cooking and tell The Greatest Story Ever Told that happened right up the street not long ago.

This charming and funny presentation includes nice musical transitions between traditional carols and more contemporary Christmas music. The focus is on God’s love and will be a heartwarming experience for all.

Gingerbread House Party & Neighborhood Caroling
Join us from 4-6pm in the FLC to decorate gingerbread houses and share a meal. Bring family & friends to enjoy this fun tradition which will be followed by an equally fun evening out caroling in the neighborhood from 6:30-8:30. Houses are $20 in advance. Reserve yours now at gingerbread@nwhillsumc.org.

Christmas Cantata - "Kneeling in Bethlehem"
“Kneeling in Bethlehem” is based on the book by Ann Weems and the following passage within, “What do I want for Christmas? I want to kneel in Bethlehem, the air thick with alleluias, the angels singing that God was born among us. In the light of the star, I want to see them come, the wise ones and the humble...”

Christmas Eve Worship
5:00pm - Special Children's Time
7:00pm - Sanctuary Choir w/Organ
9:00pm - Meditative Communion

Celebrate the birth of Christ at any one of three candlelight worship services. Christmas Eve is a time to rekindle the flame of hope and love that came down at Christmas. Come experience the warm glow of candlelight as we sing beautiful Christmas carols and share the light of God’s promise in Christ.

Advent Sermon Series

Through December

The Bible tells the love story of God and His people...a story told from the OT to the NT when God sends Jesus, gift-wrapping Himself in human flesh and coming to live among us to offer life and salvation. This series explores four characteristics of God; Expectant, Jealous, Dangerous, & Faithful.

Walk to Emmaus

Men's Walk will be in February 2015

The Walk to Emmaus is a three day experience which takes a New Testament look at Christianity as a lifestyle. It begins on a Thursday evening and ends on a Sunday evening with the objective being to inspire, challenge and equip local church members for Christian action in their homes, churches and places of business. These are enormously popular throughout the Methodist Community and everyone should experience it at least once. Get more information here.

Coffee with the Pastors
Are you a newcomer to Northwest Hills? Are you a guest or have you recently joined the church? Either way, you may have questions. Join us for coffee with the pastors on the first Sunday of each month at 10:10 am in room 110 of the Worship and Education building. Pastors Charlie and Audrey want to get to know you and provide more information about this faith community. We look forward to seeing you!
