Celebration Sundays: About four times a year, those who attend both the Contemporary and Traditional services come together for worship. This is a time of fellowship and celebration, when the congregation reunites. The music and style of the service addresses both congregations. Sunday School remains at 10:00 a.m. to be followed by the combined service at 11:15 a.m. The congregation then shares a fellowship meal in the Family Life Center, at 12:30 p.m.
The Worship Team seeks to enhance the worship experience through the sacraments, beauty, and by being a welcoming congregation. We desire that all feel comfortable in our church home and find that their worship experience is intensified by our efforts. The chair of the Committee is Lea Moody.

Communion serves as an integral part of the worship experience at Northwest Hills United Methodist Church. We offer communion each week at the 9:00 a.m. contemporary service and once a month at the 11:15 a.m. traditional service. We involve the members of our congregation in this process by including them as both communion servers and preparers. If you would be interested in participating, please contact Joy Robertson.
The Flower Ministry seeks to beautify our sanctuary through weekly fresh flower arrangements on our chancel area. These arrangements can be dedicated as a memorial to someone or in celebration of a special event. All of our flower arrangers are volunteers and training is available if needed. This is a fun way to get to know others and create something beautiful at the same time! Please contact Chris Cavner or Catherine Bailey to see how you might become a volunteer.

The Memorial Service Committee serves those who have suffered a loss in their family by providing a support system to organize the memorial service to ensure that it runs smoothly. Our goal is to relieve the bereaved of this burden. Please contact Lea Moody to see how you might be of assistance.

Ushers are an integral part of welcoming others into our church home. All our ushers wear a red stole to help others identify them as persons who may be of assistance. In addition, they wear an official "usher" name badge to identify themselves. Ushers assist with distributing service bulletins, collection of the offering, and assisting with traffic flow for communion. Those interested in serving may contact Richard Wilkison, our Usher Chair.

Sanctuary Servants seek to beautify and keep our sanctuary tidy! They pay special attention to the altar and its dressings, candles and sanctuary banners. They decorate the sanctuary to enhance worship during each liturgical season. Also, they are responsible for organizing our sanctuary pews with hymnals and necessary supplies. Please consider joining this exciting ministry by contacting Cindy Martin.
