November 4
All Saints Sunday
Join us for a special worship service on Sunday, November 4.  On this day we will pause to remember our church members and other loved ones who have died and are now living in the heavenly realm.  All of us will be invited to come forth and light a candle in memory of friends and family we have lost.

Holy Communion will not be offered during the worship service.
Instead, Holy Communion will be available
along the sanctuary wall before and after worship services.

Series: Extravagant Generosity
Join us on Sunday, November 11, as we kick-off our stewardship campaign – Extravagant Generosity.  On this Sunday we will recall the extravagant generosity shown to us by God.  We will also hear a challenge to live fruitful lives that are marked by generosity. Our text will be First Timothy 6:17-19.  “Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.”

November 18
We will continue our study on generosity on this Sunday and consider the question: how much should I give God and God’s church?   We’ll learn that the answer is a “Matter of the Heart.”  Our text will be Second Corinthians 9:7.  Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Theme: How much are we asked to give?  Tithing
  November 25
We will conclude our series on generosity on this Sunday with a challenge to maintain a focus on God. Our text for the day will be Mathew 22:36-40 “Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” 37He said to him, “’You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38This is the greatest and first commandment. 39And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

Happy Almost Holidays, Everyone!
Where did the fall go!? Thanksgiving and Christmas are almost here already! Well, at least the fall sports season is finally coming to a close, for hopefully most of you. I know talking to many of you it has been a challenge to balance your schedules as a family these last few months.
This is why I am so excited to send you this month’s Online Parenting Class! It is all about the pressures of schedules and making a choice to get a grip on that crazy pace of the modern family life.

I hope this video inspires and encourages you. I know it did me. Especially in the shifting seasons of life and activities, it is great to get that list of helpful tips.
I would love to hear your additional ideas and tips to add on to the list in the video. I would love to provide some additional tips that are working for you to other families in our ministry. Email me and let me know what is working for you!
Ephesians 5:15-16, “See then that you walk wisely, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

In Him,
Pastor Audrey

The Men’s Ministry serves “The Clothes Closet for Homeless Men”.
It is open Mondays (except holidays) from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM, and has truly developed into a ministry.  Each Monday is begun with a prayer prior to serving the customers.  The prayer includes the words “God help us to see Christ in those we serve today and help us so they can see Christ in us”.

It is cold season now and they need winter coats, winter gloves, knit caps,30-36 jeans,11-14 running shoes and large/extra large tee shirts. Bring them to the church lobby or church office.
