Summer 2021 Children’s Events

Summer 2021 at Northwest Hills UMC is bursting with fun, family-friendly activities for our community to enjoy! If this is the first time you are checking out our church or if you have missed being on the church campus this year, we are eager to share with you all of the great things we have planned for children this summer!

June Kids Bash: Saturday, June 19th, 9:00 – 11:00 AM
July Kids Bash: Saturday, July 10th, 9:00 – 11:00 AM
A trackless train, an inflatable, tropical water slide, and balloon twisting are just a few of the fun things planned at the two Kids Bashes.

Rocky Railway Vacation Bible School: Sunday, August 1st – Thursday, August 5th, 5:30 – 8:00 PM.
Vacation Bible School is a great way to meet some of the members of the church, see how the church serves our community, ride the trackless train again, and enjoy some Kona Ice in the sun!

Tuesdays at 6:30pm on Zoom

“Sunday” School

Children’s Sunday school has moved to Zoom- and Tuesdays! Each week we have a 30-minute call with music and silly dances, a short bible story video, followed by a discussion and prayer. Don’t worry if your little one gets squirmy, we welcome all attention spans! We also send out all of the lesson materials by email each week.

Sundays for Children & Families

Our church leadership and staff are working hard to serve our families. As we open our sanctuary for in-person worship, there will be some changes to our Sunday morning offers for families.

Nursery Care

As a safety precaution, we will not open our nursery in the near future. Children are always welcome in the sanctuary during worship.

Activity Bags

Unfortunately, we will also not have our activity bags available in the sanctuary. You are welcome to bring any personal items your kiddos need during worship (crayons, coloring books, toys, etc.)
