Join us as we serve breakfast at Open Door,located at University UMC.

Families are welcome, but children must be 6 or older.

Come help to prepare and serve breakfast to the homeless and assist in cleaning up after the meal.

Join us as we inspect, sort, clean, box and prepare donations for distribution to those in Central Texas who are in need!

Families are welcome, but children must be 8 or older.

Closed toed shoes and shirts with sleeves are required.

Worship and help feed the congregation at Community First! Village, Austin's nationally recognized micro-housing development for the formerly homeless.

Families are welcome to volunteer!

All children and youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent.

Missions Resouce Team & Missions Beyond Austin

In the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10: 25-37), the neighbor crosses the road to render aid. Likewise, Northwest Hills UMC provides opportunities to go out and serve our neighbors in significant, multi-day projects.

In 2019, we provided hurricane relief to families in Victoria, Texas and in Puerto Rico.

Arecibo, Puerto Rico

  • Roof Construction
  • Tile Installation
  • Painting
  • Hardware Installation
  • Debris Removal

Plans for 2020 include a return trip to Puerto Rico.
